Spinach and Onion Quiche

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. To make the crust, combine flour and salt, then cut in chilled butter until crumbly; gradually mix in water to form a dough ball and chill for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

  3. Grease an 8x8-inch pan or pie dish, then roll out and line it with the chilled pastry.

  4. Whisk all filling ingredients together.

  5. Place the pastry-lined pan onto the middle oven shelf, then carefully pour in the filling.

  6. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, until the center is firm.
