Spicy King Ranch Chicken Casserole
A hearty layered chicken casserole blends corn tortillas, chicken, cheese, and Tex-Mex seasonings for a comforting family meal.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine chopped onion, bell pepper, half of the chicken stock, condensed soups, and tomatoes with green chiles; stir thoroughly.

Pour the remaining chicken stock into the pan. Layer with half of the tortillas, then half of the chicken.

Spoon half of the soup mixture over the chicken, then sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.

Repeat the layering sequence with remaining tortillas, chicken, soup mixture, and seasonings.

Spread cheese over the top of the casserole and cover tightly with foil.

Bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until hot and bubbling.

Serve the casserole.
