Start boiling water.

Boil edamame for 5 minutes, then rinse with cold water, drain completely, and dry thoroughly.

Heat sesame oil and chopped garlic in a large pan over medium heat until fragrant.

Add chili oil and dried edamame; stir-fry quickly, then remove from heat.
