Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F (220 C).

  2. Prepare the pie pastry and fit it into a pie plate.

  3. Combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses; beat until blended.

  4. Mix in beaten eggs and milk until the mixture is smooth.

  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie shell.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 F, then reduce the oven temperature to 350 F (180 C) and bake for another 35 to 45 minutes until the center is set.
