Spiced Beef on Hummus

Puree rinsed chickpeas, tahini, peeled garlic, lemon juice, water, salt, and black pepper in a food processor until smooth, then refrigerate.

In a large skillet, sauté ground beef with onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and baharat until browned.

Stir in beef stock to moisten, then keep the mixture warm.

Spread chilled hummus onto a deep plate, creating a slight divot in the center, then spoon the warm beef mixture on top. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately with pita bread.
