Spice Rubbed Tri-Tip Roast

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill.

  2. Combine ground cumin, minced garlic, ground coriander, coarse salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and olive oil.

  3. Make shallow slits on the tri-tip and rub in the spice mixture.

  4. Place the seasoned tri-tip in a resealable bag and marinate for 4 hours to overnight.

  5. Secure the tri-tip onto a rotisserie skewer and place it on the grill.

  6. Cook on high heat for 20 minutes, then reduce to medium-high until the internal temperature reaches 150-165 F (65-75 C).

  7. Let the roast rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
