Spice-Infused Roasted Cauliflower that Packs a Punch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 F and line a roasting pan.

  2. Trim and core one medium head of cauliflower, separating florets and chopping the core into small pieces.

  3. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium heat.

  4. Remove the pot from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon hot paprika, 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, and 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon until the sugar dissolves.

  5. Add the prepared cauliflower to the pot and toss to coat evenly with the spiced butter.

  6. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared roasting pan.

  7. Roast for approximately 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until browned, tender, and crispy.
