Instructions

  1. Combine butter beans, sliced andouille sausage, water, broth, bell pepper, and onion in a slow cooker.

  2. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

  3. Add Creole seasoning and continue cooking for 2 more hours, or until beans are tender.

  4. Serve with cornbread.
