Instructions

  1. Start boiling 8 cups of water with 1/2 tablespoon of salt.

  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil.

  4. Stir-fry bell pepper, onion, and sausage until softened, seasoning with salt and pepper.

  5. Add drained spaghetti to the skillet, then toss with the vegetables, sausage, and ketchup, ensuring all ingredients are coated.

  6. Stir in butter, season with additional salt and pepper if necessary, and remove from heat.

  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with hot sauce, if desired.
