Spaghetti Bake With Ground Beef and Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and grease a large baking dish.

  2. Melt butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook onions until tender and golden.

  3. Add garlic, bell pepper, and ground beef; cook, breaking up the beef, until no longer pink, then drain excess fat.

  4. Stir tomatoes into the pan, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes; then add mushrooms and olives and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  5. Mix in 1/2 to 3/4 of the shredded cheese and the cooked spaghetti.

  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish; sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until melted and bubbling, then let it cool slightly before serving.
