Southern Style Sweet Fruit Tea Three Ways

Instructions

  1. Start boiling 1 1/2 quarts of water.

  2. Place 18 to 24 tea bags in a pitcher or bowl, then pour the boiling water over them.

  3. Stir in 2 cups of sugar until dissolved; steep tea bags in sugar water for several hours or overnight.

  4. Squeeze and discard the tea bags.

  5. Transfer the tea to a large pot, then add pineapple juice, frozen orange juice, and lemonade concentrates.

  6. Stir until the concentrates are thawed and well combined.

  7. Divide the mixture equally into two 1-gallon jugs.

  8. Fill each jug with cold water, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until thoroughly chilled.

  9. Shake well before serving; garnish if desired.
