Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Press one can of crescent roll dough into an ungreased 13x9-inch baking dish, stretching to cover the bottom and sealing perforations.

  3. Beat softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth, then mix in egg and vanilla extract. Spread this mixture over the dough.

  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough, seal perforations, and carefully place it over the cream cheese layer, stretching and pinching seams to seal.

  5. Pour melted butter evenly over the top. Combine 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the butter.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the dough is golden brown and a cinnamon-sugar crust forms.

  7. Cool for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares. Drizzle with honey before serving.

  8. Refrigerate any remaining bars.
