Smoky Cedar Plank Whole Trout

Preheat the grill.

Submerge the cedar plank in water for one hour.

Coat the trout with olive oil, then season the inside with salt, pepper, lemon slices, and dill.

Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill over direct medium heat.

Once the cedar plank begins to smoke, place the trout onto the plank.

Grill for approximately 15 minutes, or until the fish reaches an internal temperature of 145 F and flakes easily.

Remove the cooked fish from the grill and serve.
