Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine crème fraîche, cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, cayenne, and black pepper; pulse until smooth.

  2. Add capers and smoked salmon, then pulse until well combined but still chunky.

  3. Transfer the spread to a sturdy plastic bag, snip a small corner, and pipe about one teaspoon onto each cucumber slice.

  4. Serve immediately.
