Smoked Mini-Brisket

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket with salt and pepper.

  2. Combine all marinade ingredients in a pan, mix well, and add the seasoned brisket.

  3. Marinate the covered brisket in the fridge for 12-24 hours, turning occasionally.

  4. Remove brisket from the fridge and let it reach room temperature.

  5. Prepare the smoker to 220-240 F, adding any remaining marinade to the water pan if using a water smoker.

  6. Place brisket on the smoker and cook for 4-5 hours until the internal temperature reaches 180 F/80 C.

  7. Remove brisket and rest for at least 1 hour.

  8. Slice against the grain and serve.
