Slow-Roasted Rotisserie Leg of Pork
A juicy slow-roasted barbecue pork leg, cooked on a rotisserie, serves as an excellent centerpiece for family meals or a savory ham alternative.

Preheat the grill.

Season the pork leg with salt and pepper; if deboned, tie it with kitchen twine.

Secure the pork leg onto the rotisserie rod.

Place the pork on the rotisserie over medium, indirect heat with a drip pan containing 1 inch of water below.

Cook for about 4 hours, or until 150 F (65 C) internal temperature, basting 3-4 times with pan drippings.

Combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, dry mustard, and ground cloves, then brush this glaze over the pork.

Continue cooking for 30-45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 F and a crust forms.

Remove the pork, tent with foil, and let rest for 10-15 minutes.

Remove the rotisserie rod, forks, and twine, then carve the roast into 1/4-inch slices.
