Start boiling water.

Melt butter in a large skillet, then cook ground turkey and mushrooms until the meat is no longer pink and mushrooms are golden.

Transfer turkey and mushrooms to a slow cooker, then add pepper, oregano, basil, beef bouillon, the boiling water, tomato sauce, soy sauce, diced celery, carrots, chopped onion, and diced green pepper (if using).
