Instructions

  1. Start boiling water.

  2. Melt butter in a large skillet, then cook ground turkey and mushrooms until the meat is no longer pink and mushrooms are golden.

  3. Transfer turkey and mushrooms to a slow cooker, then add pepper, oregano, basil, beef bouillon, the boiling water, tomato sauce, soy sauce, diced celery, carrots, chopped onion, and diced green pepper (if using).

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

  5. Serve.
