Slow Cooker Swiss Fondue With Kirsch

Instructions

  1. Rub a saucepan with garlic, add wine, and heat over medium until it begins to bubble.

  2. Reduce heat to low, then add lemon juice.

  3. Combine cheeses with flour, gradually stirring into the wine; cook, stirring constantly, until melted and blended.

  4. Grease a slow cooker.

  5. Transfer the cheese mixture to the slow cooker, add kirsch, stir, and sprinkle with nutmeg, pepper, and paprika.

  6. Cover and cook on high for 20 to 25 minutes, then reduce to low for 1 to 3 hours, keeping on low while serving.

  7. Serve with bread cubes or other desired dippers.
