Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs With Sour Cream Gravy

Instructions

  1. Sauté mushrooms in butter until tender.

  2. In a slow cooker, combine the sautéed mushrooms, gravy, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and allspice; stir in meatballs.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

  4. Slowly whisk 1/2 cup of hot gravy mixture into the sour cream, then add this sour cream mixture to the slow cooker and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until heated through.

  5. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
