Instructions

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Combine potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, chicken stock, parsley, butter, and ham in a slow cooker.

  3. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until vegetables are tender.

  4. Stir in evaporated milk during the final hour of cooking.

  5. Optionally, mix flour and water, then add to the pot 20 minutes before finishing to thicken.

  6. Stir well before serving.
