Slow Cooker Polish Sausage and Cabbage Soup
A hearty slow cooker Polish sausage soup combines kielbasa with cabbage, onions, potatoes, and optional tomatoes for a flavorful meal.

Instructions

Dice potatoes into 1/2-inch cubes and add them to the slow cooker.

Cook diced bacon in a skillet until crisp (if using), drain, and add to the slow cooker.

Brown diced sausage and onion in the same skillet over medium-high heat; drain and add to the slow cooker.

Cook cabbage with 2 tablespoons butter in the skillet until browned; transfer to the slow cooker.

Add chicken stock, and optional tomatoes and caraway seeds to the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.

Season with salt and pepper, then serve with crusty bread.
