Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Instructions

  1. Place beef strips into the slow cooker insert.

  2. Combine vegetable oil, soy sauce, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper, and ginger in a bowl, then pour over the beef.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours until the meat is tender.

  4. Add tomatoes and green peppers, then cover and cook on LOW for an additional hour.

  5. Stir a smooth paste of cold water and cornstarch into the slow cooker, increase heat to HIGH, and cook until thickened.

  6. Serve the pepper steak over noodles or rice, optionally garnished with cilantro, parsley, or sesame seeds.
