Slow Cooker Marinated Pork Roast

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly combine ketchup, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl.

  2. Place the pork roast in a large storage bag or nonreactive bowl, coat it with the marinade, and refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

  3. Transfer the marinated pork roast and 1/2 cup of the marinade to a slow cooker; discard any remaining marinade.

  4. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 6-7 hours until the roast is tender (minimum 145 F internal temperature).
