Slow Cooker Kielbasa With Sauerkraut and Apple

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry sauerkraut, then place half into the slow cooker.

  2. Cut sausage into 2-inch pieces and add to the slow cooker.

  3. Layer the sliced apples, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and caraway seeds (if using) into the slow cooker.

  4. Top with the remaining sauerkraut, then pour apple juice over all ingredients.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until apples are tender.

  6. Stir before serving.
