Slow Cooker Creole Garlic Shrimp

Combine paprika, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme in a small bowl to make Creole seasoning; reserve 1 teaspoon.

Add butter, oil, garlic, the reserved Creole seasoning, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to the slow cooker.

Cover and cook on HIGH for 25 to 30 minutes.

While the sauce cooks, peel, devein, rinse, and pat dry the shrimp.

Stir the prepared shrimp into the slow cooker mixture to coat.

Cover and continue cooking on HIGH for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the shrimp are opaque and pink.

Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish, pour the sauce over, and garnish with parsley if desired.
