Slow Cooker Bread Pudding
A comforting slow cooker bread pudding features bread, eggs, and milk, infused with cinnamon and nutmeg, and optionally includes raisins.

Lightly butter a slow cooker, then add bread cubes.

In a bowl, whisk together scalded milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, vanilla, and melted butter.

Pour the milk mixture over the bread cubes, then add optional raisins.

Press the bread cubes into the mixture to ensure they are fully soaked; do not stir.

Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours, or until the pudding is set.
