Slow Cooker Boiled Peanuts

Instructions

  1. Wash peanuts thoroughly in a colander until the water runs clear.

  2. Place the cleaned peanuts, salt, and water into a slow cooker.

  3. Stir the mixture, cover, and cook on high for 5 to 7 hours if using fresh peanuts, or 12 to 24 hours if using dried, adding more water as needed to keep them submerged.

  4. Drain the cooked peanuts and allow excess moisture to drip away in a colander.
