Slow Cooker Beef Brisket With Beer

Instructions

  1. Brown the brisket on all sides in a large skillet with heated vegetable oil.

  2. Arrange carrots, onion, and potatoes in the slow cooker, then sprinkle with tapioca and add the browned brisket.

  3. Combine beer with mustard, thyme, rosemary, salt, minced garlic, bay leaf, and water, then pour over the brisket.

  4. Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours or on low for 8 to 10 hours.

  5. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
