Slow Cooker Baked Beans With Ground Beef and Sausage

Instructions

  1. Pour beans into a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.

  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef and pork sausage over medium heat; drain, then stir into the beans.

  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion until lightly browned, then add red bell pepper and garlic, cooking for 1 minute; stir this mixture into the beans.

  4. Add chile pepper, jalapenos, salt, seasoning, and barbecue sauce; stir to blend.

  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours.
