Slow Cooker Apple Pork Chops With Sauerkraut

Arrange sweet potatoes and onions in the bottom of a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, then cover with apple slices.

Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then sprinkle this mixture over the apples.

Brown pork chops in a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side.

Place the browned pork chops over the apples in the slow cooker, then top with sauerkraut.
