Slow Cooker Apple Pork Chops With Sauerkraut

Instructions

  1. Arrange sweet potatoes and onions in the bottom of a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, then cover with apple slices.

  2. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then sprinkle this mixture over the apples.

  3. Brown pork chops in a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side.

  4. Place the browned pork chops over the apples in the slow cooker, then top with sauerkraut.

  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours, or until the pork chops are tender.
