Slow-Cooked Oven-Baked BBQ Chicken

Preheat the oven to 300 F and line a baking sheet with greased foil.

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, molasses, mustard, Tabasco sauce, rub, and pepper; bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened.

Coat chicken drumsticks with some of the sauce in a bowl, then transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

Bake chicken for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, basting once midway through with the reserved sauce.

Continue baking until chicken is fully cooked and glazed, then serve hot or at room temperature.
