Skillet Pork Chops With Milk Gravy

Instructions

Combine flour, salt, and seasoned salt; dredge pork chops in this mixture, reserving some flour for the gravy.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; brown pork chops 3 to 5 minutes per side.

Add 1/2 cup water, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until chops are tender and reach 145 F.

Remove chops to a platter and keep warm.

Drain all but 2 tablespoons of drippings from the pan, then add 2 tablespoons of reserved seasoned flour and blend until smooth over low heat.

Combine evaporated milk and 1/4 cup water in a separate bowl, then add to the flour mixture, stirring until smooth.

Continue cooking over low heat until the milk gravy is smooth and thickened.

Spoon gravy over the pork chops and serve hot.
