Skillet-Fried Fish Nuggets

Instructions

  1. Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a large skillet to 350-365F over medium heat.

  2. Cut fish into bite-sized pieces and season with lemon pepper and garlic salt.

  3. Combine beaten egg and water in a bowl; in a separate food storage bag, mix pancake mix and breadcrumbs.

  4. Dip fish pieces in the egg mixture, then place in the bag with the crumb blend and shake to coat thoroughly.

  5. Fry the coated fish in the hot oil for 7-8 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown.

  6. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with cocktail or tartar sauce.
