Single-Serve Cornbread, Egg, and Bacon Casserole

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200 C) and butter four 6- to 8-ounce ramekins.

  2. Divide cornbread chunks and crumbled bacon evenly among the ramekins.

  3. Crack one egg into each ramekin.

  4. Top each egg with shredded cheese.

  5. Drizzle each with 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream, then season with salt and pepper.

  6. Bake for 15 to 16 minutes until egg whites are set and yolks are soft; bake longer for firm yolks.
