Simple White Rice (Arroz Blanco)

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water in a saucepan.

  2. Rinse the rice thoroughly in a colander.

  3. Add the rinsed rice and salt to the boiling water.

  4. Boil for 1 minute, stirring once to prevent sticking.

  5. Cover the saucepan tightly.

  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.

  7. Fluff with a fork and serve.
