Simple Salmon Quiche

A flavorful salmon quiche featuring fresh parsley and sautéed onions, perfect for a brunch or lunch meal.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 F.

  2. Bake the pie crust for 5 minutes, then cool it on a rack. Reduce oven temperature to 350 F.

  3. Drain salmon, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Remove bones and skin, then flake the salmon.

  4. Once the pastry is cool, add the flaked salmon and sprinkle with lemon juice.

  5. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the onion until translucent (about 4 minutes), then spoon over the salmon and sprinkle with parsley.

  6. Whisk eggs, reserved salmon liquid, milk, seasoned salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour this mixture over the salmon.

  7. Bake the quiche on a baking sheet at 350 F for 40-45 minutes until firm. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
