Simple Omelet for Kids

An easy-to-make egg dish, this omelet recipe is simple enough for children to prepare and consistently yields perfect results.

Instructions

  1. Heat a sprayed 10-12 inch non-stick or cast iron skillet over medium heat.

  2. Beat eggs, water, salt, and pepper until light and fluffy.

  3. Pour egg mixture into the hot skillet.

  4. As the omelet sets, lift an edge and tilt the pan to allow unset egg to flow underneath and cook; repeat on the opposite side.

  5. Add vegetables or meats now, if desired.

  6. When nearly set, sprinkle cheese over half the omelet, then fold the other half over it.

  7. Slide onto a plate and serve immediately.
