Instructions

  1. Grind mustard seeds for 15 seconds until mostly crushed, or use a mortar and pestle.

  2. Combine crushed seeds, mustard powder, and salt in a small bowl; stir thoroughly.

  3. Mix in the wet ingredients.

  4. Cover and store at room temperature for 2 days to allow thickening and mellowing of flavor.

  5. After 2 days, transfer the mustard to a clean, tightly covered glass jar.
