Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, mustard, salt, and pepper in a heavy-duty bag.

  2. Cut steak into serving pieces, add to the bag, seal, and massage marinade into the steak.

  3. Refrigerate the marinated steak for 20 minutes to 8 hours.

  4. Preheat your grill or broiler.

  5. Remove steak from the marinade; discard remaining marinade.

  6. For grilling: Cook over medium-hot coals for 4 to 7 minutes per side until desired doneness.

  7. For broiling: Place steak on a broiler pan and broil 6 inches from heat for 5 minutes per side until desired doneness.

  8. Remove cooked steak, cover with foil, and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
