Simple Creamed New Potatoes

Instructions

  1. Start boiling salted water in a saucepan; add potatoes and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until tender.

  2. In a separate small saucepan, melt butter, blend in flour, then gradually stir in milk or half-and-half, cooking until the sauce is thickened and smooth.

  3. Season the white sauce with salt and pepper.

  4. Drain the cooked potatoes, transfer to a serving dish.

  5. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and sprinkle with paprika.
