Shrimp Burgers Recipe
Delicious shrimp burgers are prepared from a savory mixture of shrimp and aromatic vegetables, served with or without buns.

Instructions

Combine mayonnaise, mustard, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 3/4 teaspoon Old Bay, and minced scallion; stir well and refrigerate.

Puree half of the shrimp with garlic in a food processor, then transfer to a large bowl.

In the same processor, finely chop 3 scallions, red bell pepper, 3/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning, and 1 teaspoon lemon zest; add to the bowl with the pureed shrimp.

Cut the remaining shrimp into 1/4-inch pieces and add to the bowl. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, then form into 4 patties.

Refrigerate the patties for 20 minutes until chilled.

Heat vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

Cook the shrimp patties for 4 to 6 minutes per side, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper, until thoroughly cooked.

Serve the cooked patties on lettuce-lined buns with the prepared sauce and any other desired toppings.
