Sherry Cream Crab Sauce

A rich and spicy creamy crab sauce is prepared with sherry, cream, and lump crabmeat.

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in flour and onions and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Pour in sherry, then gradually add cream while stirring continuously.

  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning and tomato paste, then simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce slightly reduces and thickens.

  4. Add crab and parsley and cook for 1 minute until the crab is heated through.

  5. Taste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper as needed.
