Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
-
Brown sausage in a large pot, then remove it, leaving the rendered fat.
-
Sauté onions and garlic in the pot with added butter until soft, then mix in poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
-
Combine the cooked sausage, sautéed vegetables, chicken stock, egg, parsley, and bread cubes; stir to moisten and set aside for stuffing.
-
Mix softened butter with remaining ingredients; apply this seasoned butter under and over the turkey skin.
-
Line a baking sheet; place stuffing on half, making a well for the turkey breast, then position the turkey.
-
Hasselback sweet potatoes by making thin, partial cuts; arrange them on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter and brown sugar.
-
Bake the sheet pan for 40 minutes.
-
While baking, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
-
Add green beans and crescent rolls to the baking sheet, then top the sweet potatoes with marshmallows.
-
Continue baking for an additional 20 minutes, covering the turkey and stuffing with foil if they brown too quickly.
-
Remove from oven, cool for 5-10 minutes, then carve and serve.
