Sesame-Ginger Tri-Tip Steak

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  2. Trim excess fat from the beef tri-tip.

  3. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except the tri-tip and sesame seeds, then mix well.

  4. Place the tri-tip in a resealable bag with the marinade, ensuring it's well coated, and refrigerate for 6-12 hours.

  5. Remove the tri-tip from the marinade just before grilling, discarding any excess marinade.

  6. Grill the tri-tip, turning occasionally, for 25-30 minutes, adjusting time for thickness and desired doneness.

  7. Let the grilled tri-tip rest for 5-10 minutes.

  8. Carve the tri-tip across the grain, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.
