Seafood Casserole With Rice or Pasta

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.

  2. Butter a 1 1/2 to 2-quart baking dish.

  3. In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour for 2 minutes, then gradually add milk and stir constantly until thickened.

  4. Stir salt and shredded cheese into the sauce until melted; set aside to cool.

  5. Once cooled, mix sour cream into the sauce.

  6. Arrange fish fillets in the prepared baking dish.

  7. Combine crabmeat and scallops with the cream sauce, then pour over the fish.

  8. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

  9. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, topped with toasted pecan pieces.
