Savory Sauteed Mushrooms

A simple and versatile side dish, these sauteed mushrooms perfectly complement steaks, pork chops, burgers, or grilled chicken.

Instructions

  1. Wash mushrooms, trim stems, and slice thinly.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add sliced mushrooms and herbs, then sauté for 6 to 8 minutes until tender and most liquid evaporates.

  3. Stir in green onions, wine or chicken broth, and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes until very little liquid remains.

  4. Season with salt to taste and serve.
