Sautéed Stinging Nettles
Prepare tender and vibrant stinging nettles with a simple sautéing method.

Start boiling salted water if blanching nettles.

Clean nettles by either washing them in cool water while wearing gloves, or blanching them in boiling water for 4 minutes, then chilling in ice water and squeezing dry.

Heat a large pan over high heat with oil or preferred cooking fat.

Sauté the nettles, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes if blanched or 5-8 minutes if raw, ensuring high heat for raw nettles.

Season with salt to taste and serve immediately.
