Sauteed Steakhouse-Style Mushrooms

Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt butter to coat the pan.

Add mushrooms and garlic, tossing to coat them in butter.

Season with salt and cook, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes, until mushrooms release their liquid and it almost evaporates.

Increase heat to high, add red wine and beef stock, then bring to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid reduces by half.

Taste, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, then garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
