Sauteed Radicchio

Instructions

  1. Trim and discard the stem end and any damaged outer leaves from the radicchio.

  2. Quarter the radicchio, remove the core, and then cut the quarters into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the prepared radicchio and salt, stirring to coat the leaves with oil.

  5. Cook, stirring frequently, for approximately 8 minutes, until the radicchio is tender and lightly browned.

  6. Transfer to a serving dish; season with additional salt if desired.
