Sausage Bread
An easy appetizer bread made with store-bought dough combines savory sausage and cheese for a pizza-like flavor, excellent for dipping.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Brown the sausage in a large skillet, breaking it into small pieces, then drain on paper towels.

Whisk eggs, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning in a bowl; reserve 3 tablespoons of this mixture.

On a floured surface, roll out thawed bread dough into a 9x13-inch rectangle.

Brush the dough with the egg mixture (excluding the reserved portion), then layer with cooked sausage and shredded cheese.

Roll the dough from the long end like a jelly roll, pinching the edges and ends to seal.

Place the roll seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with the reserved egg mixture, and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.

Slice and serve with marinara sauce.
